There are only two IKEA stores in Mexico, neither one close to my house. So I needed to learn how adults buy furniture. And in Mexico, you can get furniture custom made for about the same price as new furniture. We hired a local carpenter to build a vanity in our casita bathroom. Then I had him build a custom desk for my office. And finally a few headboards.
